Faridabad, Karnal to be developed under 'Smart City' Mission

Faridabad and Karnal will be developed under the 'Smart City' Mission in Haryana, Member of Parliament Krishan Pal Gurjar said here today.

The two cities were finalised today at a meeting, chaired by the Haryana Chief Secretary, in Chandigarh.

Faridabad was given 90 points out of a ranking parameter of 100 while Karnal scored 95.

Official notification in this regard is, however, yet to be released. The necessary notification and the procedures would be notified in the coming days, the MP said.
