Kisan Mahapanchayat leader Rampal Jat today met social activist Anna Hazare in Maharastra to discuss the controversial land acquisition bill and also invited the anti-graft crusader to visit Rajasthan.
The two discussed issues related to the controversial bill and also on the need of a minimum package for farmers who get their crops damaged due to natural calamity among other issues.
Jat told PTI over phone that he has invited Hazare to come to Rajasthan to strengthen the farmers' movement.
Jat, a former BJP state general secretary said he would tomorrow hold a one day 'upwas' (fast) in front of the state assembly building here in support of farmers' demand on various issues.
