Father, son jailed for 5 years in kidnapping case

A local court today sentenced a man and his son to five years in prison in a case of kidnapping.

Additional Sessions Judge Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi yesterday convicted and sentenced Subash and Sorvan for kidnapping a 16-year-old girl and imposed a fine Rs 3,000 each.

According to the police, they had kidnapped the daughter of Satyapal, a resident of Harchandpur Kala village. A complaint was filed by the girl's father on April 6, 2013.
