Fathers kill sons in Moga, arrested

Family disputes led to fathers killing their sons in two separate incidents in the district, police said here today.

The incidents took place in Nanagarh and Chaksingh wala villages yesterday, they said.

According to police, in the first incident, a former students' organisation leader Karnail Singh was shot dead by his father Darshan Singh over a family dispute in Nanagarh village.

The second case, which was reported from Chaksingh wala village, 45-year-old Angrez Singh was killed by his father Jawala Singh over a familial discord last night, police said.

Both the accused have been arrested and investigations were on, they said.
