FIRs can be now be registered at any police station in Haryana irrespective of the jurisdiction of the occurrence of crime, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said today.
"Now FIRs can be registered at any police station in the state while the proceedings could be initiated and completed only by the police station concerned," he said here at a camp here to redress the grievances of people.
He said all issues faced by the people would be addressed and their problems solved by officials concerned.
The Chief Minister heard the complaints of a large number of people during the day.
He said that those registering their complaints through internet would immediately get an SMS on their mobile phone regarding the action taken.
