First LED Video wall inaugurated in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today inaugurated the first LED video wall constructed at a cost of Rs 67 lakh under the financial assistance from Asian Development Bank (ADB) at Indira Gandhi Khel Complex here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that more such walls would be set upatmajor tourist spots in the town like Scandal Point and Rotary buildingetc.

He said that tourism related activities, useful information about various tourist destinations in the statebesides live telecast would be the main attraction to the tourists.

"It would also help in attracting more tourists in the cityas it was the central place in the town and inflow of tourists gatheraround it, Singh said adding that with the financial assistance of ADB various projects had been proposed for beautification of the town.
 

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Shimla Municipal Corporation (SMC) Sanjay Chauhan said that the LED has been installed at the heritage place without seeking prior permission from the SMC which is a violation.
