: A fisherman drowned, another went missing and four were rescued after their boat capsized in the sea 150 metres off Padukere coast in neighbouring Udupi district,police said.
The deceased has been identified as Raveendra Kotian (33). Another person in the boat, Shivananda Kotian (26) was missing and the search for him was continuing, they said.
The six fishermen had put out to sea yesterday.
MP Oscar Fernandes and Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj visited the hospital where the body of the deceased fisherman has been kept.
