Five killed, 5 injured in mishap

Five persons, including two children, were today killed on the spot and as many others injured when a car they were travelling in collided with a stationary container lorry at Soriampatti in the district, police said.

The deceased included two women, the two children and a man, they said.

The injured have been hospitalised.
