Five persons, including three women, were today killed and as many injured when a tractor trolley in which they were travelling collided with an oil tanker in Jalore district of Rajasthan.
The victims were on their way to attend a marriage function from Kurda village, about 120 km from the district headquarters when the incident occurred, Kurda Station House Officer Bhikha Ram said.
"Two died on the spot whereas three succumbed to injuries during treatment at a hospital," he said, adding that the deceased included three women, one girl and a boy."
The injured were being treated in a hospital, he added.
