Five Naxals held

arrested in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, a senior police officer said today.

Acting on a tip-off, Hidmu Kohrami (22), Lakhmu Benjam (28), Vacham Raju (26), Madvi Baman (24) and Padam Muio (23) were apprehended from Tungeli village in the district yesterday, Bijapur SP Prashant Agrawal said.

The ultras were on the police's radar for their role in serious crimes like murder and attempt to murder, he added.
