Forced by HC, NEHU awards Gold Medal to law student

Shatrudhan Upadhaya, a student of city Law College had been placed in second class. None in the department secured first class in that year, university sources said.

Dissatisfied with the marks he obtained in Paper XX and XXI of the final year, Upadhaya sought re-evaluation of those papers following which his marks were enhanced and he became the topper with first class, which entitled him a Gold Medal.
