Forest officials unearth illegally run saw mill

A case was filed against the owner of the saw mill at Badakholi in Buguda forest range Ram Chandra Patnaik but forest officials did not find any timber from the saw mill, said forest ranger, Buguda P K Sahu.

During a raid in the same village yesterday, forest personnel also seized timbers worth around Rs 40,000 which which were stocked illegally, sources said.
