Former Deputy Prime Minister remembered

Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today paid floral tribute to former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram on his 110th birth anniversary.

Jagjivan Ram was instrumental in setting up the first Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Centre) in the Union Territory.

Industries Minister M O H F Shah Jahan and Congress MLAs were among those who paid tribute.
