Former East Zone speedster Sekhar Sinha die of cancer

Sinha, who had claimed 115 wickets in first class cricket playing in Ranji for undivided Bihar, breathed his last at a private hospital last night. He was 60.
He made his debut in 1974-75 against Orissa and last played against Railways in 1982-83. He took 39 wickets in a season in 1975-76 Ranji trophy when Bihar reached a lone final in the Ranji Trophy.
Cricketers Jay Narain Sharma and Adhikari M M Prasad, who had played with Sinha, and leader of the opposition in the Bihar Assembly and Bihar Cricket Association Ad-hoc committee convenor Abdul Bari Siddique have expressed grief over his untimely death.
