Former Nanpara MLA dies

Former MLA Devta Deen Verma today died after prolonged illness. He was 85.

Verma is survided by a wife and two daughters.

He was a two-time MLA from Nanpara assembly segment, first he represented the segment on Congress ticket in 1985 and again in 1989 as Janata Dal candidate.

The former Member of Legislative Assembly was cremated this afternoon in his native village Karimganj.
