Former NCP MLA detained for carrying live cartridges
A former NCP MLA was today detained at Delhi airport for allegedly carrying live ammunition.
CISF personnel found that Kamalakar Ahir Rao, on his way to Indore from here, had 13 live cartridges in his baggage, official sources said.
He was questioned and later detained by Delhi Police.
He produced an arms licence which is valid only in Maharashtra, the sources said.
