Four drown in rivulet in AP village

Three children and a youth drowned in a rivulet at Kommarampet village in Gara mandal of the district this evening, police said.

The children, in the age group of 9-10 years, entered the rivulet to take a bath, they said.

As soon as the three entered the rivulet, they were pulled in by the water and started drowning. A youth who went to their rescue too drowned.

The four bodies have been recovered and further investigation was on.
