Four girls drown in crater in Raj

Four girls drowned in a crater filled with water in Sikar district of Rajasthan.

"The girls had gone to graze cattle when they started playing near the crater and accidentally fell into it in Ladi ka bas village in Neem Ka Thana area," police said.

The bodies were taken out and shifted to a local hospital for post-mortem.

The deceased were identified as Gudda (15), Poonam, Nishu and Meena (all aged 8 years), the police said.
