Four of family killed in fire mishap

Four members of a family, including a nine-month-old boy were charred to death in their sleep when their hut caught fire in Medak district of Andhra Pradesh, police said today.

The incident occurred at Mariveli village under Alladurgh police station limits at around midnight.

Two women, besides a girl and the infant, were killed in the blaze.

The exact cause of the fire was still not known and further investigations were on to ascertain the facts, a senior police officer belonging to Medak Sub-Division said.
