Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations rose by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly led to rise in select destinations freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Jaipur were quoted higher by Rs 500 each to Rs 20,000, Rs 21,000 and Rs 18,500, respectively.
