Freight rates unavailable as truckers strike enters 3rd day

Freight rates were not available with trucks remaining off the roads as transporters continued their nation-wide strike for the third consecutive day today on the call of All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) to protest against the present toll system.

However, the government refused to budge on their demand for scrapping the present toll system.
