Freight rates for 10-tonne load section to Hyderabad, Guwahati and Vijaywada rose by Rs 1,000 in the local transport market today because fewer vehicles were available.
Transporters said besides good cargo movements, tight position of trucks mainly pushed up Vijaywada, Guwahati and Hyderabad freights.
Capital to Hyderabad, Vijaywada and Guwahati rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 59,000, Rs 62,000 and Rs 54,000.
