The second of two New York City police officers to be buried after a daylight ambush will be mourned at a funeral this weekend.
Aievoli Funeral Home says viewing and visitation for Officer Wenjian Liu will be held from 1 to 9 p.M. EDT Saturday, and his funeral will be at 10 a.M. Sunday. Both will be at the funeral home in Brooklyn.
Liu and his partner, Officer Rafael Ramos, were shot to death inside their patrol car December 20 by a gunman who had posted online about plans to attack police.
The funeral arrangements for Liu took some time, as he had relatives traveling from China.
Vice President Joe Biden and thousands of officers were among those who remembered Ramos at a funeral Saturday.
