A factory manufacturing furniture was today gutted in a fire on Road No.18 in Vishwakarama Industrial area here, an official of Jaipur Municipal Corporation (Fire) said.
No one was present in the factory when the fire broke out around 8:30 AM, the official said.
Seventeen fire vans took four hours to douse the blaze, he said.
The exact amount of loss and cause of fire was yet to be ascertained, he said.
The factory was spread in over 4000 sq meter of area with many tin shades where the furniture was made, he said.
