An Angola national was killed after his car overturned and hit a divider near a crossing here, police said today.
Carlos Fernandis was killed in the accident that occurred last night under the Kasna Police Station area, Greater Noida DSP Arun Kumar Singh said.
He was studying electronics and communication at the Sharda University, he said, adding that the body has been sent for post-mortem.
The embassy concerned has been asked to inform his family, Singh said.
In Dadri, a woman allegedly committed suicide last night by jumping from the 10th floor of a building at the Omex Palm Green Society.
Police claimed that the victim in a suicide note said she was mentally upset and her family should not be harassed for her act.
The note was found from a room in her apartment, they said.
In Harola village in Noida, a woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself yesterday, police said.
Reportedly, on Monday, she had an altercation with her husband about she visiting her parents on June 7, they said.
The victim's family members have registered a complaint and the matter is being investigated, police said.
