Gaya remains hottest place in Bihar

Hot weather condition prevailed today throughout Bihar, according to the meteorological centre here.

Gaya sizzled at 42.9 degress celsius, while Patna and Bhagalpur registered 39 degree celsius each.

Purnea logged 35.2 degree Celsius but recorded the highest humidity level at 79 per cent.

Cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm has been forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours, the met office said in a bulletin.
