An 18-year-old girl, an inmate of a private nursing hostel in Pattamundai Town in Odisha's Kendrapara district, allegedly ended her life by hanging, police said today.
The police retrieved the body of victim - Sashmita Biswal - hung from a ceiling fan of the hostel room today.
No suice note was found from the spot.
An unnatural death case has been registered, police said adding that the circumstances that led to the incident is being investigated.
