State-run GNFC today reported a net profit of Rs 99.09 crore for the March quarter on account of higher income.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 325.78 crore in the same quarter of 2014-15 fiscal.
Total income from operations increased to Rs 1,308.31 crore during January-March quarter of 2015-16 fiscal compared with Rs 1,192.89 crore in the previous year, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) said in a BSE filing.
The Board of the company has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share of Rs 10 each for the year ended March 31.
