Gold bar seized from aircraft from Bangkok

A gold bar weighing about one kg and valued at Rs 27 lakh was recovered today from a Spice Jet aircraft, which arrived from Bangkok, customs officers said.

The aircraft arrived from Bangkok early this morning and the gold bar was found inside the craft, said a senior officer of the Kolkata Airport customs, adding one one was arrested in connection with the recovery and investigations were on.
