Govt invites nominations for Padma Awards

Government has invited nominations for various categories of Padma awards for 2015.

It has asked interested people to send their applications by September 15.

The process of receipts of nominations for the Padma awards, 2015, is open and the last date for receipt of nominations is September 15, 2014, a Home Ministry spokesperson said.

Nominations may be sent to the Union Home Minister or Union Home Secretary to their offices in North Block in New Delhi.

The Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awards for the year 2015 will be announced on the eve of the Republic Day next year.
