Gram dal and maida prices fall

Prices of gram dal and maida decreasd while the prices of all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Gram dal fell by Rs 50 to Rs 3,900 per quintal from its closing rates of Rs 3,950.

Maida(90 kg) came down by Rs 50 to Rs 2,400 from its previous rate of Rs 2,450.

Prices of tur dal, urad dal, moong dal, sugar, wheat and sooji ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,300 Urad Dal Rs 7,800 Moong Dal Rs 9,800 Gram Dal Rs 3,9O0 Sugar Rs 3,300 Wheat Rs 2,400 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,500.
