Groundnut oil prices slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following reduced demand from stockist and retailers amidst ample arrivals from producing belts.
Refined palmolein edged down due to mild offtake from retailers.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil prices dropped by Rs 15 per 10 kg to Rs 1,000 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,015 and refined palmolein inched-down by a Re per 10 kg at Rs 465.
Among non-edibles, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ended unchanged at Rs 3,975 per 100 kg, Rs 825 per 10kg and Rs 770 per 10 kg, respectively.
