Gujarat BJP minority cell president Kadar Salot passes away

President of Gujarat BJP's minority cell Kadar Salot passed away at a hospital in Surat early morning today, family sources said.

Salot, who had gone to Surat to participate in a BJP function, suffered a severe heart attack last night and was taken to the hospital, said his son Asif Salot.

Salot was 51 and is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.

He was with BJP since 1998.
