Gur prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today following slackness in demand amid increased supplies.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also showed a weak trend with prices falling up to Rs 100 per quintal on higher supplies against weak demand.
Marketmen said in addition to weak demand from stockists and retailers supply pressure from manufacturing areas mainly pulled down gur prices.
