As part of the anniversary celebrations at JLF, HCI has introduced colourful 'Hop On Hop Off' buses with their engines revving, and ferrying authors to the festival.
To celebrate a passion for storytelling, HCI launched a video created by Dentsu. The concept of the video narrates the relationship of books with readers.
There is a lot of content out there, waiting to be discovered and read, HCI said.
According to HCI CEO Ananth Padmanabhan, "It is a momentous year for HarperCollins. We turn 25 in India and 200 years globally, and we are using this occasion to celebrate our lifelong passion for storytelling.
"We made this short film about how books open up a world of infinite possibilities. We all have a story, we love stories and there is a certain joy in our relationship with books - we thought that this was a great way to say it!"
Also in Jaipur to celebrate the 25th anniversary is HC UK CEO Charlie Redmayne.
The celebrations will continue throughout the year, with a series of very special promotions and activities, including the launch of an exciting range of titles, collectibles and merchandise, the publishing house said.
