In an effort to bring down aggregated technical and commercial losses, Haryana Power Distribution Corporations will launch an aggressive campaign involving change of defective power meters, relocate meters outside consumer premises.
It was stated by Chairman and Managing Director, of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Devender Singh here today.
He further said the corporations will also fix the responsibility of staff according to the feeder and sub-division in the state.
Singh said that the discoms have started the process of procuring new single and three phase energy meters and it has been decided to change all defective meters by October 31 in a phased manner.
The Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission has also directed the discoms to change the defective meters immediately.
