Four new drug testing laboratories would be set up in Haryana at a cost of about Rs 14 crore for keeping a check on adulteration and for testing of samples, Health Minister Anil Vij said here today.
"These labs would be set up in Gurgaon, Bhiwani, Hansi and Panchkula," Vij said.
Presiding over the review meeting of Health Department here, he said that old ambulances would also be replaced with 77 new ambulances for providing better facilities to people.

The Health Minister said that recruitment would be made on total 532 posts of doctors, specialists, nurses and other Class C posts.
Also, medicines would be purchased to meet its shortage in hospitals throughout the state and for this contract would be signed wherever required for procuring medicines.
Apart from this, the equipments lying unused in various hospitals would be sent to other hospitals where required, he said.
Vij said that a special campaign would be launched for recruitment of doctors and for this the posts of doctors would be taken out of the purview of Haryana Public Service Commission.
