The Madras High Court today ordered to issue notice to a deputy superintendent of police on a plea alleging that he was responsible for the death of the petitioner's wife and daughter.
The petitioner, Suresh, also prayed to transfer to the CBI the "false" FIR registered against him in the matter.
Suresh alleged that the DSP, Ravichandran, had illicit relationship with his wife, a police constable who was working with him, and a girl was born out of that relationship.

He alleged that the DSP transferred his wife after he entered into another illicit relationship with a woman, following which his wife committed suicide after killing her daughter.
Suresh said in his plea that the DSP compelled his mother-in-law to file a complaint against him, and an FIR was registered against him, alleging that the woman committed suicide along with her daughter due to marital problem.
Suresh prayed to direct the case registered against him to CBI for a proper probe.
Justice A Selvam ordered issue of notice to the DSP and posted the case for hearing on November 18.
