Two persons, including a head constable, were nabbed by Haryana Vigilance Bureau for allegedly accepting bribes in two separate cases, an official said today.
According to the spokesman of the State Vigilance Bureau (SVB) Haryana, the accused identified as Pardeep Kumar, head constable, police station Sadar Palwal, was caught taking a bribe of Rs 60,000 from complainant Manmeet Kaur in lieu of removing his name from a criminal case.
Another accused Ravinder Kumar, a mandi supervisor was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a contractor Ajay Kumar, a resident of Kot Kalan district.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused under Prevention of Corruption Act, the spokesman said.
