Highway robbers nabbed

Three highway robbers were today nabbed by the local people when they were looting a coal-laden truck, police said.

The local people at Tikarpanga junction on the NH 5(A) nabbed the robbers and handed themover to the police after the truck driver raised alarm.

The trio confessed to committing a series of robberies on NH-5(A) and Cuttack-Paradip state highway in the past. However they had never been apprehended earlier, police added.
