Himachal Pradesh Congress chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukku today issued show cause notices to 84 activists, including local leaders, for allegedly indulging in anti-party activities during the assembly election in December 2012.
Former minister Natha Singh and ex-MLAs Roop Singh and Satya Prakash Thakur were among those who were issued the show casue notices, party spokesman Naresh Chauhan said.
The show cause notices, asking the party workers and leaders to explain why disciplinary action should not be taken against them, were issued on the recommendations of District Congress Committees, he said.
Most of the workers issued notices were office-bearers of the the PCC and DCCs, the spokesman said.
