Hisar hottest place in Haryana at 42 deg C

Maximum temperatures across Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh today hovered a few degrees above normal limits, with Hisar sizzling at 42 degrees Celsius.

Hisar in Haryana was the hottest place in the state while Ambala too braved a hot day at 40 deg C, the MeT Department said here.

Karnal recorded a high of 39 deg C, while Chandigarh was 39.4 deg C.

Ludhiana was the hottest place in Punjab at 40.6 deg C followed by Amritsar at 40.2 degrees C and Patiala at 40 degrees Celsius.
