Homage paid to Ambedkar on his 62nd death anniversary

Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy Thursday paid homage to Dr B R Ambedkar on his 62nd death anniversary here.

Ministers, legislators and leaders belonging to different political parties and various outfits championing the cause of the downtrodden garlanded a statue of the leader opposite the Assembly premises.

Former chief minister and Opposition Leader N Rangasamy paid tributes to a portrait of Ambedkar at the All India (NR) Congress party office here.
