Homage paid to Kalam

A large number of people

including about three thousand students of this island today paid homage to former President A P J Abdul Kalam where was laid to rest.

According to the officials leaders from various religions gave a discourse on the unique character of the former President.

The Vivekanandha Kudil priest Brahmananda wanted the burial site and surrounding areas to be named as Abudul Kalam Nagar.
