The filming of some scenes for the third season of 'Homeland', which were planned to take place in Israel, is now moved to Morocco over safety concern.

The escalating tension in the Middle East amid talks of a possible US military strike on Syria is the reason behind relocating the production, reported Ace Showbiz.

'Homeland' has previously filmed some parts of the first two seasons in Tel Aviv as well as Barta'a, a small town that straddles the Green Line.

The choice of Morocco as the alternative place does not come as surprise since FX's pilot 'Tyrant', from 'Homeland' creators Howard Gordon and Gideon Raff, will also shoot there.

'Homeland' season 3 will be on air from September 29.
