Honour killing: Woman dies after being beaten up by family

Rubia Bano (28) and her lover Suddu Verma (26) were beaten up by the woman's family members in Devraniapur village in Risiya area on July 4, police said.

While Verma died on the spot, Bano, who was seriously injured, died yesterday, they said.

A case had been registered against Bano's father, brother and uncle, who were arrested.
