Hot and humid weather conditions prevailed in most parts of Bihar today with Bhagalpur being the hottest place in the state at 38.5 degrees Celsius.
As per Met bulletin, Gaya recorded maximum temperature at 37.0 degrees Celsius while Purnea's maximum was 36.5 degrees Celsius and Patna recorded 35.8 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 32.6 degrees Celsius.
Patna and Gaya recorded more than 70 per cent of humidity while Bhagalpur and Purnea registered more than 80 per cent of humidity in the morning, it said.

Light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places in north east and north central parts of Bihar with Bhagalpur and Purnea witnessing 0.4 and 0.6 mm rainfall respectively in past 24 hours.
In its forecast, Met department said that it will be partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunderstorm for major cities of Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea tomorrow.
