Hot day in UP

It was another hot day in Uttar

Pradesh with the weather remaining mainly dry over most parts and the meteorological department predicting similar conditions for the next few days.

Day temperature rose appreciably in Faizabad, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow divisions, rose in Varanasi, Bareilly, Agra divisions and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.

They were appreciably above normal in Faizabad division, above normal in Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow divisions and were normal in the remaining divisions over the state.

Highest maximum temperature of 43.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Banda.

Weather department forecast that weather would be dry over the state in the next couple of days.
