In Shimla, tourists and locals preferred to stay indoor as the capital city recorded a high of 30 degree Celsius, six degrees above normal, while the minimum temperature touched 19.2 degree, five degree above normal, according to Met department.
Sundernagar recorded a high of 40.1 degree Celsius, followed by Nahan 38.3 degree, Bhunter 37.4 degree, Solan 35.5, degree Dharamshala 34.8 degree and Kalpa 24.6 degree respectively, five to six degrees above normal.
