The Delhi High Court was today informed by the city government that it renewed luxury hotel Hyatt Regency's lodging licence as it had "fulfilled" the mandatory requirements of having a health trade licence (HTL) as well as a no-objection certificate from the Fire department.
The submission came in the wake of a notice issued by Delhi police on September 12 to Hyatt asking it to show cause why its lodging licence will not be revoked for alleged violations reported by DCP of South district.
The show cause notice issued by Delhi police as well as Delhi government's affidavit containing its submissions were placed before Justice Vibhu Bakhru who listed the matter for final disposal on October 27.
